These performances of Alcina are dedicated to Dame Joan Sutherland OM, AC, DBE, and our new patron Richard Bonynge AC, CBE. We are partnering with local charities to gift on a seat to Alcina. For every charitable seat purchased, National Opera will gift a second seat to charity, to provide someone in need, a night out to the opera.
Canberra Hospital Foundation
The first charity on board is the Canberra Hosopital Foundation. Canberra Hospital Foundation supports patients at any age, for any illness, from babies, children, teens to adults and the elderly, from those having treatment for cancer or chronic illness, to those recovering from injury, the vulnerable amongst us, and those peple nearing end of life.
