National Opera is excited to announce the cast for the 2020 Production of La Rondine.
Starring as leading lady, Magda, is Opera Australia principal artist, Lorina Gore. We are also excited to welcome the wonderful Henry Choo as Ruggero, Georgia Wilkinson as Lisette, Daniel Todd as Prunier and Adrian Tambourini as Rambaldo, to our principal cast for our inaugural production!
National Opera is focused on producing professional standard productions whilst supporting developing artists to perform and fine tune their craft in a supportive environment. This is reflected in our cast selections with the opportunity provided to developing artists to cover various roles.
National Opera is also excited to collaborate with the School of Music at the Australian National University. A number of voice majors were able to gain real life auditioning experience with our Artistic Director, Peter Coleman-Wright AO, and have all been provided to opportunity to join our chorus.
