As part of World Opera Day (Sunday 25 October) celebrations, we are announcing Pocket Operas as part of our 2021 season.

Pocket Operas are condensed (approximately 50 minute) versions of your favourite operas performed in a way so that our local developing artists can learn a major operatic role without the need to stage a full production.

One of our aims is to nurture developing talent and Pocket Operas are the perfect tool for this. It is tremendously important for developing artists to have experience learning operatic roles so they can further pursue their singing career however, this can be difficult to do without the opportunity to perform.
